turn the airbag off in the passenger side of an BMW X5 ?
I need to put my baby seat in the front & it won't be safe unless the airbag is off.
Anyone know how to do it ??

Does it have a cut off switch as standard? My last 2 cars haven't, had to spec them on ordering and pay (£25 for Volvo) to be fitted.

In an Audi A$ it is in the glove box, put in key and turn.

In a Volvo XC90 it is by passenger door/end of dashboard - key in and turn.

Hmm, manual could be anywhere....thanks for the tips though - will have a look

call your local BMW dealer - they all work on sundays and someone should be able to tell you.

Don't you keep your instruction manual in the glove box? I thought this was normal tbh.

Not sure if exactly the same, I have an X3 almost the same...you do it by the ignition key - have a look and you will see the ignition slot has different wordings wth one that says turn off front pass airbags and then you get a light on in the overhead console telling you. Hope it is the same xx
