Villa holiday in October near a town

I'm hoping mn can help me with this. We don't get to go abroad often, so are not great on destination choices. Looking to go away in October half term with 3 DC 20, 16 and 12. We would like a villa, but want to eat out for dinner often and perhaps a little nightlife for eldest, in case he also decides to bring a friend. Would prefer not to hire a car as that seems very expensive these days.

Thinking Canaries most likely for temperature, but open to other places that might be warm then.

The Canary Islands are a great choice for October, they are likely to be the most reliable short haul destination for warm weather.

Some ideas for places to look:

Fuerteventura - Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste

Tenerife - Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos, Callao Salvaje

Lanzarote - Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise

Gran Canaria - Maspalomas, Meloneras, Playa del Ingles

Other options for October:

Cyprus - Paphos, Limassol
The Algarve - Albufeira, Lagos
Malta - Mellieha, St Julian’s, St Paul’s area
Costa del Sol - Marbella, Benalmadena, Estepona, Mijas Costa, Torremolinos

Thank you @cherryassam we have looked at Tenerife mostly, but the villas we found were up in the hills away from town.

Cyprus has great weather in October, we go often.

Lots of villas in the Paphos/Coral Bay area.

Yes that is often the case in Tenerife.

Callao Salvaje is more walkable in my experience, there’s a villa complex just along the front which isn’t too far from the centre of the town. The nightlife is fine but not excellent for your oldest, although taxis are affordable to Costa Adeje we found.

Corralejo (Fuerteventura) is mostly flat and has some nice villas within walking distance of the resort centre. Great nightlife options.

Thanks Both. I've seen some nice ones in Portugal and Cyprus now. Will take a look at Callao Salvaje, eldest is not big on nightlife, would just be nice to have something for him if possible.
