Jet2 transfers

I have just logged onto the app to check some details on our summer holiday. When I looked at the transfer details it's listed as "express". That's it. Nothing else. My gut is saying they are just sugar coating a coach transfer. At the back of my mind a coach transfer is vaguely what I remember when we made the booking last year. I just wondered if anyone could shed any light on what "express" means in Jet2 terminology?

Also, assuming it is a coach transfer, what are your experiences with Jet2's coach transfer service? Do they go around then houses for ages? Direct we are 46 minutes from the airport. Am I being realistic to think the reality will be more like 1.5 hours with other stops?

I'm contemplating getting a quote for the private transfer but fully accept I could be fretting unnecessarily. We're flying with two young children, landing about 8pm local time (7pm our time) So by that point I'll be just wanting to get us to the hotel and to get them fed and bed.

Express transfer for Jet2 is a coach with a maximum of 3 stops to your hotel.

Thank you so much. That's really helpful. I priced up a private transfer after posting this... it was coming up £200 😱 Max 3 stops is very reasonable I think (so long as they are all in the same direction!) Thank you.
