Mediterranean destinations family with teens

We went to Majorca last year,loved it and the kids spent the whole time jumping off rocky (small) cliffs into the sea.

We’d like to try somewhere else this time. We love the Mediterranean (warm seas).

Mainland Spain? Ibiza? Malta?
Somewhere else?

Any resort recommendations or areas?

I’m wondering if we should go for an apartment and/or self catering this year as we didn’t use the pools or entertainment in our hotel last year.

Looking to travel in august so a bit last minute.

If they particularly enjoyed spending time at the beaches, cliff jumping etc. I’d have a look at:

Sardinia - amazing snorkelling, fantastic beaches, beautiful nature, great food. Areas to look at: Villasimius, Costa Rei, Pula, Stintino, Costa Paradiso, Orosei.

Sicily - great food, gorgeous beaches, amazing diving/snorkelling. Areas to look at: San Vito Lo Copo, Fontane Bianche, Giardini Naxos, Cefalu.

Malta - brilliant snorkelling, great coasteering, gorgeous coves/caves. Areas to look: Gozo, Mellieha, Bugibba/St Paul’s/Qawra.

Corsica - fabulous beaches, great snorkelling, gorgeous landscapes, great little restaurants and bars. Areas to look: Porto Vecchio, Propriano, Bonifacio & Bonifacio Coast, Cap Corse, Saint Florent.

Ibiza - good beaches, great food, shorter flight time. Areas to look: Cala Tarida, Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga, Es Caná.

Cala Gracio and Cala Saladeta just outside of San Antonio on Ibiza.

Dubrovnik is amazing for cliff jumping! Some cafes and bars carved into cliffs with swimming platforms. Gorgeous clear water.
