Holiday ideas for single parent with 5 and 2 year old children

This is my first summer as a single dad and trying to think of some ideas for a week away in the UK with my 2 year old and 5 year old. (Dog friendly would be bonus!)

Has anyone with similar age kids been somewhere fun?

I’d find a place to stay near a beach that allows dogs. Where’s your nearest coastline?

There’s some lovely caravan parks on the east coast, Northumberland and z north Berwick. Would be ideal for kids of that age

I’ve just booked a week in a park in Wales in the Pembrokeshire national park. Bluestones it’s called. I’ve not been yet but it looks great!

Any of the many campsites along the north wes coast. My kids are the same age - beaches, castles and camping - they love it.
