Ibiza advice

Hello, I'm going on holiday to Ibiza at the start of August with my husband and will be staying the north of the island, near San Miguel.
We're thinking of going to one of the big clubs in Playa d'en Bossa but have no idea how reliable the taxis and buses are out there at night.
Do any of you have any experiences of getting taxis at night from one of the livelier parts of Ibiza to the North of the island? Or have any tips generally about Ibiza?
Thanks in advance

There's a taxi rank opposite Ushuaia/next to Hi, we left the club slightly early and waited less than 5 minutes around 11pm for a taxi back to San Antonio. I can't personally comment on what it's like overnight but Ibiza is so well set up for tourists and clubbers. I'd be surprised if you had any issues.

We’ve just come back from a week near Cala Pada which is quite a quiet area and we got taxis all over the place - all the busier areas have tons of taxi ranks / areas on the street where you can get a taxi. I don’t think you’ll have any issues at all.

Thank you for your replies, that sounds very positive! I always like to know how I'm getting home from a night out and had thoughts of us stranded waiting ages to get back!

As others have said it should be no issue, however this is the number for the islands taxi service, they speak English, so for peace of mind you can add to your phone.
As a general note, you can't flag taxis down you have to go to a rank. There are lots and even if the queue is big it goes fast. The last 2 years there have been a lack of taxis across the island but this year seems a lot better. You will be approached by touts chancing their luck on illegal cabs, they are very expensive...as well as uninsured!
As an alternative there are night buses that run between resorts and clubs though I'm unsure if there is one from San Miguel.

Thank you for the taxi number, I really appreciate it. I'm looking forward to our trip and the taxi situation is looking good!
Thanks for the replies

The drinks in those big clubs are VERY expensive, ( even water ), so preload before you go out!😂

One lovely thing I did in Ibiza was, in San Antonio, there's a road by the sea with all the chill out clubs/ bars, like Cafe del Mar. There are restaurants with tables outside. If you time it right, you can go eat there and watch the sunset. They play classical music just as the sun disappears below the water. It was so beautiful, made me cry!

Thanks for all the replies. I'm really looking forward to our trip and Ibiza seems to offer so much. I was reading about another place you can watch the sunset while people play drums and bongos. It's called Benirras beach, I think there is a hippy market there too. It looks beautiful and not far from where we will be staying so might be worth a visit.

Drumming down the sunset at Benniras Beach was one of the highlights of my trip.

I can't remember which evening I went and I'm not sure if they do it every evening.

The drumming’s on Sunday.
