Scarborough - where to take the kids for lunch?

We are going to see rellies in Scarborough tomorrow and need somewhere family friendly to take our toddlers and two grandparents for lunch. Any recommendations?

It's a long spell in the car for DD's so preferably somewhere relaxed where they will get colouring in type stuff at the table rather than somewhere with fine cuisine...

Any other tips for where to visit with mixed ages? Rellies only just moved there so not very up with where to go..

ASK Restaurant in Scarborough.North Wharf, South Bay Sandside, Scarborough YO11 1PP - Tel: 01723 507575

I visited the York branch last week with bro & sis in law, 5 year old niece, 7 year nephew and 10 week DS, really impressed fab food, authentic pizzas, pasta.
Colouring for kids, roomy building, child friendly without being pizza hut, good childrens menu. Not rushed very relaxed and food is certainly restruant quality

I don't live in Scarborough so don't know it very well, I love it though and we usually go twice a year, if I was taking my grandparents I would prefer the North bay , lovely park with railway and sea life centre. Beach a bit quieter South Bay is flashing arcades, bingo, donkey rides and candy floss, find you spend a lot of money, okay if decent weather though lot of fish and chip shops and burger bars
