Any recommendations? Somewhere you've actually stayed, or at least someone you know has - or a hire company you've used.

yeah i know franch... (re asking/not affording) but the joke is, i may now be able to afford that for a special occasion. but am irritated by having to ask in haughty 'piss off you pauper' sort of way, so am put off asking ! which, i suspect, would make them happy

franch - we stayed in a villa near Granada, now not with Scott Dunn, as the owner sold it on. The chef and nanny meant the holiday was really relaxing, you were met at the airport by two reps, complete with cold water bottles, they took our luggage in their car, they had got the hire car for us already, they would have let us follow them to the villa but we wanted to stop on the way for lunch. Excellent service, you pay for it, but it was good value.

[considers starting yet another impossible to find sahm co specialising in truly child/family friendly luxury villas ]

LilOrphanAnnie · 23/02/2008 14:09

BoT, no it was a farmhouse in the middle of fields. But didn't set foot in a shop as the villa was catered.
PPH - gorgeous house, but PMSL at "The Kitchen is for use only by the Staff "

Tutter · 23/02/2008 14:11

and told us about local restaurants with a take-away service

Tutter · 23/02/2008 14:12

TraceyAcabanes · 24/02/2008 07:26

my pool area is completely fenced off and has fantastic locked cover - no worries with little ones!!
