Baby on plane on lap

Taking my 4 month old baby on a 2 hr flight tomorrow and starting to sweat at the practicalities. She doesn't have her own seat and we don't have extra leg room. She doesn't settle well in my arms if we're sitting down. Any tips?!

I flew with my daughter when she was nearly 3 months old and since then we have flown several times. She has never had a seat for herself (she is going to turn one next month). They will give you her seatbelt to attach to yours.
Most of the times, she has just fallen asleep at take off and we have just given her a bottle when she needed it. I'd recommend an aisle seat so you can go easier to the toilets if you need it. In our last flight we were in a window seat and she didn't like as much as she likes to observe people!

Ah she's only 4 months (mine is too), so just feed her to sleep and cuddle.

Mine slept on me on planes until he needed his own seat at 23 months; we used to travel alone every couple of months. I miss it so much tbf but now I have two it's harder.
