Caribbean in October

Advice please
I'd like to go to Jamaica in October
Will it be too rainy?

It's hurricane season, I personally wouldn't go.

Mom I always thought it was august and September but I guess it's still riskier than December to April

A former neighbour had her holiday cancelled the night before. A friend spent part of hers in emergency shelter when it became too dangerous to be in her room.

It can work and often it does but for it's too much of a risk.
