Thailand fun stuff to do

We are heading to Thailand this summer - me, DH and two older teen DDs. We are starting in Bangkok, then Krabi, then Koh Samui.

For those who have been what are the best things to do you can recommend in those areas. We aren't hugely sporty but we are game for most things.

Bangkok - tuk tuk evening food and market tour and any sort of trip down the river. You can see lots of sights from the river. Use the water bus to get around.
Krabi - boat trip with kayaking around James Bond Island (is very touristy, but we enjoyed doing something a bit different). Lots of different island hoping trips. Water taxi to Railay beach where you can try rock climbing or just laze on the beach).
Koi Samui - again lots of boat trips/snorkelling. Try to get to the south of the island where the beaches are quieter.

How about a cooking course in any of those places.

Have a look on something like Viator to see what takes your fancy; zip lining, ATVs.

Try to avoid anything to do with elephants/tigers, even if they tell you they are all rescued. There is now a trade in “rescued” animals!
