Hi everyone,
I am looking to do a solo trip with my DD5. We've travelling quite a bit together, and are looking at the following places:

  • Prague (I went before kids and remember lots of bars!)
  • Bucharest
  • Budapest
  • Skopje
  • Riga
  • tirana
We have two weeks in the half term, so will go in the second week which is 30October-3 November. Any advice or tips? I am worried most about Albania, but I know lots of people who have been recently and say its lovely... It will just be the two of us. We like to do museums, so parks, eat and shop. TIA

Prague has loads for children to do.

I remember loving it. But I mostly remember the drinking. Good to know thanks.

Not on your list but DS enjoyed Munich at that age.

Thanks @MinnieMountain the price point is just a bit too high and we’ve been there before.

I think I’ve decided on Bucharest. We can do a day trip to Dracula’s castle on Halloween which I think could be really fun!

Maybe for another time but my dc enjoyed Salzburg when young.

Kaunas in Lithuania is lovely, has lots of interesting museums and a castle. Feels very safe there and it's spotless.
