Help me find this holiday destination

Can anyone think of a holiday destination that meets these criteria?

• direct flight from London (preferably Gatwick)
• Flight no more than 2.5ish hours
• Quick access from airport to a sandy Mediterranean beach (Atlantic is too chilly!)

How about Menorca? Short flight at approx 2 hours 20mins and if you look at Punta Prima the beach is lovely and fairly close to airport (around 30 mins)

Menorca fits the bill. I second Punta Prima or Binibeca.

Menorca definitely! The other Balearic Islands would be options too. Palma itself has some lovely beaches on Majorca not too far from the airport.

Olbia in Sardinia is approx 2h30 from Gatwick. The airport is super close to the coast and you can get to lots of beaches along the east of Sardinia v quickly.

Cagliari is a bit further south and again you can be at lots of beaches easily.

I was also going to suggest Punta Prima in Menorca.

Definitely Menorca but my vote is for Cala Galdana

Nice, South of France. Airport almost on the doorstep, easy by bus.
Added bonus is culture (museums, galleries), shopping and glamorous people.
