Disneyland Paris - 3 or 4 days?

I’m currently planning a holiday to Disneyland Paris in September.

It will be our first trip to DLP (been to Orlando a few times before), it’s also our first trip with our children (2 boys, ages 3 and 7 months at time of travelling).

For the first trip would you recommend 4 days in the parks or 3?

Also thoughts on hotels? We’re considering the Newport - any experiences here? We won’t have a car as it’s easier for us to travel by train.

Lastly is there much to do in the evenings (like Disney Springs in Orlando)?

Thanks!

We’ve been a few times and I’m taking DD6 and DS3 again in November! For magic hours with that age I’d recommend hitting up fantasyland and getting on Peter Pan, buzz light year laser blast, dumbo etc when there aren’t any queues, as these really build up later in the day. We will often do all of fantasy land, head across to get on pirates right when it opens then go back for hotel breakfast at 10.30 having done lots of rides.

In the studios go for ratatouille and web slingers, and the rides in Toy Story land if they open as you can’t fast pass and queues get long

Marvel Hotel is definitely at least 5 minutes closer than Newport Bay and is also a much nicer hotel . If you hold off until next year the Disneyland Hotel should be reopen .

Actually I meant 3 night not 3 days

Hi all, thanks for starting this thread Creative34. We are thinking of going in the October half term. We have an 8 & 7 year olds. Any other tips for us? Is the food very expensive and out there any things we need to take to get us through the day without spreading a fortune having to buy it there?

Just realised it’s September now, hope your trip goes or went well @Creative34 .

When we went I tried to just feed my Dd in the park itself and my partner and I just had a big breakfast in the hotel we stayed in. It’s 16 euros for a burger, chips and drink. Take a water bottle to re fill at the water fountains. They went on strike while we were there and refused to refund the park day ticket money so buy your tickets via credit card for insurance.

@Scousefab thank you for replying. Sorry to hear that they didn’t refund the park tickets, that’s bad! Thanks for the tips I’ll make sure to do that. We are waiting to get out passports back before we can book but I’m too excited!!! 😃

@SpecialK24 thanks!

We booked for 4 days and 3 nights in the end - we’re off at the end of September.

I can’t wait!! Will let you know of any tips when we get back
