Would love to hear of any hotel/ accommodation recommendations for a group of ladies going to Barcelona for a weekend. Celebrating a friends big birthday with a girls trip. The chief organisers have bailed and trying to help friend so she's not organising by herself. Thanks so much

We stayed at the Stay Together Barcelona Apartments with a group and it was great. We had a three bedroom apartment and it worked great - three bedrooms with twin beds and a lounge with a sofa bed. It was so clean and a great location!

I’d recommend Villa Emilia. It’s not especially central, but conveniently close to public transport. It has a range of rooms including triples, plus a rooftop terrace and bar.

Chic and Lemon budget hotel was nice. Very central... 2 min walk to top of ramblas.

Seventy Barcelona is the most amazing hotel.

Can’t think of the main hotel where I stayed or others stayed but Hotel Jazz near Plaza Catalunya I’ve stayed at and so has DB and his DW.

There’s a big one just down the road from it but on opposite side opposite the Sephora which is where we and family stayed but I’ve forgotten the name!

It’s been about 5 years since I’ve been there but watch out for pickpockets, rampant everywhere but especially on Las and on airport bus. Lots of nice restaurants one great one which did gourmet burgers.

We just explored all areas in daytime and night went out and there are often free films in summer in many of the squares. Aldo liked university area it was the new trendy area last time we were there. Montjuïc is nice as seems cooler.

I recommend doing the open topped bus tour. It helps get your bearings and a glimpse of the sights you might want to explore further.

Oops didn't realise it was just accommodation you were looking for 😳
Eyes are still half asleep

The catedral Bas apartments are lovely and have a small roof top pool.
