Is Fast Track Security worth it?

We are travelling outside of school hols, on a weekday morning. Going from Gatwick South terminal, which is apparently very busy. We can get fast track security for £5 (no kids). Is it worth it? We almost missed a flight home to Dublin at Heathrow back in November as the queue took overr an hour.

The worst case scenario is its no different. It's literally a fiver each - I'd just pay it for piece of mind.

We’ve done it before and would again, you just never know how busy the airport is going to be and no one likes queues.

Sometimes I’ve found it’s been worth it and then on other occasions it hasn’t.

We usually pay for it, plus fast-track passport control inbound.
It's not much, & we think it's worth it.

For £10 I definitely would. Like pp said it's peace of mind.
