Inspiration for holiday abroad this summer holidays!

I am at a loss as to where to book. There are 4 of us (age 7 and 10 children). They have never been on a plane. We live on the South coast.

Happy to do a city break or 1 week in the sun. There is so much choice. Kids think they like the heat but they have only experienced uk summers!

Any suggestions, weblink etc gratefully received.

Valencia because it’s got both a beach and some great attractions for children such as the Oceanografic, science museum, Bioparc and Lego Fun Factory.

Eurocamp (or other similar companies), either France, Italy or Netherlands, we’ve had some brilliant family holidays doing that for a very reasonable price.

Depends if you’re happy to drive abroad. If so, a Eurocamp holiday (safari tent with kitchen and bathroom or a caravan) somewhere in France. The one near Paris is good and you could take the children on a day trip to EuroDisney.

If you’d rather fly, I’d look at a self catering apartment in Majorca.

Would you prefer mainly pool/beach or more activities?

Where would you be flying from?

Southampton/Bourne/Bristol airports - like things to do

Lisbon loads to do and then a few beach days in Cascais. Short journey and several trains a day from Lisbon to Cascais.

Or cruise.
