Morocco beaches?

Thinking of going to Morocco in late Sept.

Essaouira comes up a lot but I hear it’s v windy. Would love to just sit and chill on a warm beach if possible!

Any other thoughts?

It's very popular for windsurfing so maybe not great for just sitting and lounging. Maybe Agadir? I thought the beach wasn't great though, and there is quite a lot of sex tourism there

The beach in Essaouira is long and gets windier the further you walk from the medina. We used to just hang out on the sand with our children and it was fine. The main problem was the water was really cold and because it’s very much a working harbour, the water had a layer of oil floating on top.

When I was in Essioura (sp) there were cockroaches all over the beach at night 🤢
