DD18 off to Split - underprepared! Advice?

DD is leaving this Sunday for Split for 4 days with a friend post exams. She is booked into what looks like a nice air b and b and that’s as far as she has got with plans. Exams have been all consuming and her last one is Friday so she has done no research at all. I just wondered if anyone would mind sharing tips on things to do/ things to look out for / nice places to go eat ? She is a sensible generally unflappable type , but this is her first trip outside uk as a grown up and we live in a rural, low key end of the country so she probably lacks street smarts. They land about 10am Sunday but can’t get into accommodation until 3pm. Any advice welcome

Is the air bnb quite central? if so, then Split is a very nice place to just walk around and take it all in. At 18, post exams, in a lovely city like Split, I would think they'd want to eat out, people watch, relax and unwind (I would've also wanted to have a drink but unsure if your daughter drinks!) . I'd check if she can drop off luggage though as it'll be a pain in this weather to carry stuff around until check-in

Lots of islands to take boats to if she wants a beach. We didn't find a beach in split.
We went to lovely vegan restaurants.

Thank you for your replies! I think I remember the accommodation was near a beach so I think it’s outside of town. I can check that with her when she surfaces from books. That all sounds good and reassuring for me as well. She is quite low key - will have a drink but not looking for big party. I’m really hoping she has fun, been a long year.
