Would you go to an island for 3 nights?

So we are booked to go to Tobago for 7 nights. We can book our flights in a way that would mean we’d be able to do 7 nights there and then 3 nights in St Lucia on the way home (where the flight from Tobago would stop off).

St Lucia doesn’t appeal for a long time, but we’d really like to go snorkelling at Anse Chastenet and then also see the Pitons, and one or two other sites.

If you had 3 nights, and 2 full days, would you do it? It’s 50 mins between St Lucia and Tobago, so it’s kinda like going to Highlands for a weekend?

It's 50 mins. Many people's daily commute is that length (or longer) so I don't know why you're asking really. If you want to go, just go.

It sounds like you want to and you can. So what's the issue holding you back?

MaggieFS · 18/06/2023 20:06

Why not, it sounds like a free stop? Just make sure you don't have a huge transfer from the airport.

That said, you seem to have quite a big wish list, so perhaps you need a longer holiday there?

Of course, I go to Majorca for 3 nights and it's much longer than 50 minutes!

I’m not sure what the issue is assuming you can afford it and can get the extra time off work etc.
especially as the plane is stopping there anyway.
I went to SL once years ago- it’s a very poor place but the most geographically stunning place I’ve ever been

Yes I definitely would, St Lucia is amazing.

I was going to say the same, I had a similar commute and I didnt even work a full 8 hour day. I can't think of a single reason not to do this is you want to but dont do it just because most other people would

It's your holiday, you should do want pleases you
