Family-friendly hostels in France

Hello! We would like to go to France for a few days in August but have a very limited budget and can't go for a whole week which makes it trickier! Has anyone stayed in a great hostel or monastery? There are 4 of us and we are especially interested in Alsace or Brittany or Paris but actually any experiences would be welcome. Thanks.

Have you considered a gite (Ie. Cottage?). They can be quite reasonable.

Booking.com you can filter for family rooms

You can also find camping pods, yurts, house boatson here too

Thanks. I'll take a look. Gites seem to be very expensive and luxury nowadays. I need a basic option. 😂
