Would really love some help. Before DS came along we've always done independent travel to long-haul destinations or Greece with the now sadly defunct Laskarina and am now feeling at a loss as to where to go/who to go with for holidays. Am looking for a relaxing 2 week beach holiday somewhere sunny in April. My DS is 2 and loves the beach. My DH isn't ready to face camping or big resorts and has totally ruled out France. Am not particularly bothered about kids clubs and the like but would prefer accommodation within walking distance of restaurants and the beach so we don't have to hire a car for the entire time. I would ideally have gone for Greece but nothing seems open before May and I fear that it would be too chilly. Have looked into the Canaries but all the options seem to either be big resorts or pricey boutique hotels. Our budget is around £1000 for all three of us. Any suggestions most gratefully received!
