I've spent hours perusing the web to try and get insurance for only my daughter and myself. I opt for a Defaqto 5 star and then Google that companies reviews..... only to find that people are delighted if they haven't had to make a claim at the cheap price / ease of sorting online but those that have on the most part seem to say avoid as they are still waiting for payouts / had them declined. I appreciate you are perhaps more likely to write a critical review than if everything goes smoothly.
Could anyone therefore recommend an insurance company where they have had to make a claim and paperwork / doctor's notes etc were accepted without a fuss. We have no existing medical conditions and thinking an annual policy might be better in the long run.
I have avoided going with our bank account as I have no plans to drive while away and European Breakdown / mobile cover is not necessary. Thanks!
