Hello

Has anyone stayed here or heard anything about it?

I am due to give birth next month and have a nearly two year old, and am looking for somewhere to go that is driveable from the UK in October. So will have a 2yr old and a four month old.

just itching for a break!

never tried Eurocamp before.

thanjs

I've been a couple of times, it wouldn't be my first choice in October with a 2 year old and a baby.

It's a great site for older children who can play more independently but there won't be much to do for the ages of your children, especially in October when it won't be very warm.

It's also quite rural with not much around and a good 2 hours from Paris if you wanted a day trip. TBH you'd probably find more to do going to a Haven site like Devon Cliffs.

Thanks @sparkypupp - that’s very helpful insight indeed. 2hrs from Disney! They make it sound like it’s on the doorstep!

I really liked it there. We went when my DD was 1 and had a great time. It’s a pretty site with quite a lot to do.

Thanks! May I ask when you went?

It was about five years ago. I’m sure some things will have changed but I’d happily go back.

We went to Euro Disney for a couple of days afterwards which was great fun.

Not sure if this helps or not but we just spent May half term at Le Chêne Gris, booked through Canvas holidays. We enjoyed the splash pool, which probably won’t be possible in Oct, but I believe one of the pools is heated and there was an indoor soft play area and two small outdoor play areas. The train station is literally next door and gets to Paris in around an hour and it’s about a 25 minute drive to Disneyland. There is also a small zoo/wildlife park called Parrot World about 10 minutes away which we enjoyed. My DDs are 5 and 2.

It's a great site, probably more geared towards 4+ = there's a soft play, splash pad, pools plus outdoor trampolines and play parks that I'm not sure will be open in October. Disney will go completely over the 2yo head I fear. It's one for the future I'm sure.

I know! They do trips to Disney from there but it sets off really early because of the journey! It's a fab site with absolutely loads to do, but I'd save it for a few years when you can all enjoy it - and go in the summer when it's warm enough to get in the lake Smile
