Mauritius in June/July?

Looking at going away for 7-10 nights, last minute. Seen some fab deals to the Mauritius 5* for a week for less than £800.

I understand it's Winter, and there isn't light later than 6pm but is it warm enough for a beach holiday? Currently the weather is 28c.

Yes it’s fine at that time of year. A bit like a warm uk summer. Indeed sunset early but it’s fine! Will be really nice, it’s a lovely island.

We went in June last year for 14 days. To be honest I wouldn’t go back at that time of the year but I like a hot holiday! We went in June specifically as it was my big birthday and I wanted to go somewhere out of Europe and frankly I wish I’d done a city break and then the long haul later in the year.
I have quite a few pictures of me in a hoody! 😂
3 days were total washouts. 2 of them we managed to get out and about with umbrellas but one we didn’t leave the hotel room expect to go for food it was so horrendous.

Just back frOm west coast. Had 2 days of drizzle but still warm and bright sun the rest of the time. We stayed in an air bnb, the town was quiet outside of weekends but still enough open. All trips were running.

Yes, but make sure you are on the West Coast as the East gets very windy (and a bit nippy). You’ll find the East coast hotels are much cheaper as a result.

We went in July and it was 26/27 every day and we had two days of bad rain out of 14. We needed a cardigan in the evenings.

It was a fab holiday!!

We are just back today after 10 days in North West of Mauritius. We had a fabulous time. Weather was really good as it was 28/29 degrees daily with a lovely breeze. Yes it got dark at 5pm but it was still warm enough at night to wear short sleeves. Actually, we quite liked the fact that we could shower and get ready for dinner every evening, without being an oil slick of sweat before we reached the restaurants! We had one day of rain but that was just for few hours.

I went in June a few years ago, it wasn’t warm enough for me. It was like UK on a pleasant summers day and a tad chilly at night. Then we returned in March this year - proper hot weather!
