Krakow - recommended cafes and bars to watch the world go by

Hi.

We are off to Krakow this evening for 4 nights. I have things planned for most days but we would also like to spend late afternoons and evenings having a couple of drinks somewhere nice.

We are staying near the castle so are between the old town and Kazimierz.

I know there will be cafes and bars around the main square but does anyone have any recommendations for hidden gems?

Many thanks

Cytat cafe in the Jewish quarter, their coconut hot chocolate is lush.

Wow @FionnulaTheCooler that looks fantastic. My DH is a second hand book lover so I might never get him out again. Thank you!

Make sure you visit a Polish bakery to try their filled doughnuts and also get one of the cheese flavoured pretzels off the carts that are on every street corner, they're amazing.

@FionnulaTheCooler Thank you for the tip. We will keep a look out.

The cafe on the terrace at Wawel Castle was nice.
There is a lovely cocktail bar called Pandora’s Box but that’s on the other side of the square from you.
