Villa holiday for next Summer? Where would you book?

We've decided to do a villa holiday next year as eldest dd will be 18. Assuming she will still want to come with us as she's said she does now.
Also have two other dc who will be 15 and 9.
Thought process is that if we book a bill with 5/6 bedrooms and something that's not mega expensive for flights she can invite someone to come with her so she doesn't have to be with us the whole time. We also want something a bit less manic that the usual all inclusive kids holiday hotels that we normally go on.
So not long haul, near to a town (walking distance), beach and with a good sized pool. Not overly bothered about it being super modern but must have the usual air con, wifi etc.
if this was your list where would you look?

Hmmmm. Yeah I hadn't really given that much thought tbh. 🤦‍♀️
We normally book package so I don't really know how much would be about normal.
We've got some money coming through next year so have a bit more than normal.

Croatia is always a good shout, but it depends on how big you want the town to be - if it needs night lift etc you might find it harder to get a big villa with a pool.
Vrbo is a great app/website for looking at options.
For Croatia you can look the Istria region which has coast but also some inland areas - fly to Pula - or on the skinny coastal bit where you are best flying into Split.

Best to have a think first!

We did 3 weeks in the algarve last year, in vilamoura. Bit quieter than other parts, nice beaches, good sea fronts, marina, decent restaurants
