Are the Nerja caves worth visiting?

Just that really. Will be doing it on a day trip from Malaga… by bus.

We enjoyed it. Twice in fact. Lots of steps if you have small kids or mobility issues. They used to do a breakfast and caves ticket where you get a small breakfast and coffee included in the restaurant that's quite good value.

It takes just over an hour on local bus to get from Malaga to Nerja then a short journey to the caves. IMO very average, have seen many better ones. Friend lives near to caves and have been for charity events.
Nerja is a nice town, decent restaurants, try El Puente near to the town entrance for good value lunch.
