Appointment at Passport Office

Has anyone done a fast track appointment at a passport office?
My passport has expired and DH was awarded a trip away for both of us very soon from work. I’ve got the appointment but all it says on the confirmation email is to take my old passport.
Do I need to take completed forms? And do I need to take photos? I have already uploaded a photo when I made my appointment so not sure if I need to?
Does anyone know?

I believe it’s all done there and then. Take other proof such as driving licence, birth certificate, something with address on like credit card statement, utility bill etc., just in case.

No you don’t need to take anything else.

I did this last Sept, was in Durham PO on the day HM the Queen died.

All I took was old passport as per the email.

They gave us numbered tickets as we went in (think they checked my name on a list) and when it was my turn, I went to a booth with 2 people in. Handed over old passport, they checked details on new, I signed it and was out a few mins later
