Taking Norethisterone

Help me work out when to start taking Norethisterone to delay my period.

The instructions state to take the tablets 3-4 days before your period is due. On what day of the cycle would you start taking it, if your periods range from 26- 31 days?

So, if my last period started on the 22nd May 2023. When would it be the best day to start?

Sorry, my question was should I start 3-4 days before 28 days (minimum cycle or 3-4 days before 31 days (maximum cycle) or somewhere in between?

You can start taking it the day you go on holiday (or before if period likely in first few days of holiday) and continue it until day before end of holiday (will get period 2 or 3 days after stopping it)
