I hate looking for holidays. Start off all enthusiastic and then give up! We are a family of 5 and usually book a villa with pool and then eat out and occasionally we've stayed in nice 'glamping' type accomm with shared facilities. Kids want to experience staying in a hotel. But does this mean we have to all be in one room? I had imagined interconnecting rooms but can't see anything like that. Don't really want sofa beds.
What we'd like is a nice hotel/resort with a suite or interconnecting rooms, some activities, in a nice place - we like to go out an explore rather than spending 100% of time by pool/beach. I think a resort would be nice for the older kids to have a bit more independence. We like Greece, Croatia etc. I've seen one place I liked but it was £14k for 7 nights. Above our budget! Any ideas??
