Thailand - Khaolak - Nang Thong Beach

Never been to Thailand and looking at Khaolak Bhandari Resort & Spa located on Nang Thong Beach. Thinking of going B&B, anyone been recently? What's it like? How much to eat & drink out? I'm unsure how much it would cost for meals/drinks for 2 weeks. We are a family of just 3 - have a 15 year old son. Has anyone been to this location recently. Are there plenty of nice restaurants & bars?

What time of year are you thinking of going? We are going to Thailand this summer - also as a family of 3 with teen dd. We have done a lot of research and have found the reviews on Tripadvisor and YouTube invaluable. On YouTube there are walkthroughs of hotels and towns which often tell you the cost of food etc.

Dh and dd are not that keen on a beach for 2 weeks so we are doing Bangkok, Khao Sok National Park and then Koh Samui.

Have you read about rainy seasons etc? We plumped for the east coast as hopefully the weather will be better in August
