Budget family holiday in October? Anyone got a good recommendation?

I'm looking for somewhere that is still warm in mid October.

Kid friendly (6-13 year olds) with a pool that is warm enough to be usable.

All inclusive.

£3k max for a family of 5.

Can anyone suggest somewhere?

I would suggest Marrakesh/Morocco but flights can be a bit pricey in October for a family of 5. How many nights are you looking at?

cyncope · 30/05/2023 22:55

Looking at around 7 nights.

Gocek in Turkey is my fave for that time

We went to Torremolinos last year for Halloween. Weather was beautiful, everything still open, kids club and evening entertainment at the hot, and less than 2 grand for 3 adults and a child for flights, hotel, transfers, baggage and insurance. That was from Ireland though.

I am following with interest. The weather seems more pot luck by October

I'd assumed mainland Spain would be quite cool by October.

@stevalnamechanger is there a particular hotel you can reccommend?

I'd reckon you could make Morocco work. Weather will be great then and could probably settle in Marrakech and do some day trips from there. Was there with my wife in December. Had the most amazing time.

Morocco would be great but over our budget I think.

I think it can be done with your budget. Would be happy to help you DIY it!
