Turkey - nicest seaside resort/town?

Two females, early 30’s. No kids with us. Neither have ever been to Turkey before but keen to visit.

Where would you recommend?

We prefer to avoid clubs/party spots. A nice beach (sand or shingle) is a must, as is either a great hotel with lots going on, and/or an area with lovely restaurants and a harbour/promenade or place to wander of an evening.

I love Kusadasi, I have travelled there many times as a single woman and always felt safe. It has all the things you've asked for

Rixos premium Gocek . Lovely - went last year . Short transfer from airport . All inclusive but excellent quality . Activities and classes included . Boat to private beach . Very clean . Walk down to local marina area in evenings .

Kalkan is really great, lovely resturants, beach clubs, a few nice cocktails bars
Kas has a more laid back vibe but fun
Dalyan on the river with a short boat trip to beach, lots lovely resturants along beachside and in the town
Turkey is lovely

Forgot to say - it's over 13 only so no little children . Also we went in august and it was apparently full - but it never seemed so . Loads of places to sit by pool or beach - it's spread over a good sized plot . Low level individual buildings in gardens .

We go to Patara viewpoint in Patara. Lovely quiet hotel but the village has a few restaurants and a couple of bars. Not far from Kalkan for a posher evening. Amazing beach 20 mins walk through archeological ruins. Hotel organises lovely trips out on boats or by minibus. You can do as much and as little as you want.

regular bus to Kalkan and kas.

we are not the sort to visit a place more than once but we go back in September for our fourth visit.
