Where is reliably warm enough for pool and sea swimming Oct half term?

Is the nearest the canaries? Egypt? Or is it worth stretching out to Sri Lanka or Thailand?

Want to go somewhere low key just to chill - don’t like big resorts or nightlife. More simple and off the beaten track type of vibe. Is there anywhere I have missed?

Also would like somewhere value for money.

Cape Verde, Canaries, Cyprus, Turkey.

Turkey can be hit or miss with weather so wouldn’t suggest there, been to Egypt late October and it was 28-32 everyday and didn’t need a cardigan in the evening.

Canaries, we have visited in Dec hols and Feb half term, for reliable weather.

Vietnam.

I lived there for 3 years and swam in an outdoor, unheated pool every morning before work. :-)

Canaries will still be warm. If you want off the beaten track there are loads of places.

Twiglets1 · 29/05/2023 17:17

Cyprus is a good bet weather- wise

Lozzie51 · 29/05/2023 17:24

Cyprus- it's a beautiful island with guaranteed weather.
