Thailand end of July - tips on the heat/weather pls

Going to Bangkok - Chang Mai - Koh Phnang

I expect Bangkok to be very hot (although was there in July a few years ago and it was bearable). Chang Mai to be less so and .... not sure what to expect on the island. Late twenties, I guess?

Anyway, if you've been that time, is it v humid? Do I expect a lot of rain? is it all bearable etc? I guess it's a bit late for that question now!

All very bearable if you can bear a hot UK summer like last year's. Occasional torrential rain, but quickly passes.

I've been to Chiang Mai in July and it was torrential rain. It usually lasts a few hours but it can also last all day.
