Night time flight with 3 year old

Hi all,

We've booked to go away, our youngest will have just turned 3, it's a night time flight approx 5 hours + 2 hour transfer, we will arrive at the hotel around 3am.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks they would like to share 😳 obviously I am hoping she will sleep throughout but knowing my luck she will do the opposite!

Also does anyone know what the rules are with taking milk on a plane as she always has some before bed? I'm not sure I'll be able to take it though the airport onto the plane..

So if anyone has any advice that would be great 😊

Thank you x

You can take food/drinks for very young children. Is it just cows milk? You can definitely just buy that at the airport. I fly with my kids to the US all the time. Have things downloaded on a tablet, headphones, sweets. There are not a lot of rules when we fly expect keeping quiet as possible. Take them a pillow are the airplane ones suck. I just tell mine, "right the cabin crew are coming round now to make sure all the children are asleep, lay down and close your eyes". And they more or less do.

3am local time? Just go with it. You can get cows milk airside from pret or boots.

Expect nothing, hope for better!
