DH and I have been to the same place (Tenerife) for our holiday for the last 2 years. Reason being it’s guaranteed excellent weather, it’s flat for DS as we take his scooter, it really suits everyone. However we’d like a change and was looking at Greece or Portugal but we’re worried if we pick somewhere at random we’ll be stuck in the middle of nowhere! We’d ideally go self catering but aren’t particularly fussed on this. The things we do like are nice beaches, being within walking distance of the town/port/seafront etc. we currently stay maybe a 10 min walk from the seafront so can walk on as far as we wish, nice pool for DS who spends a lot of time in it. Can anyone recommend anywhere we can focus our search? Thanks.
