Calahonda in bad weather

I'm taking my 13 year old DD to Calahonda for half term and the weather isn't looking too good. Rain is forecast every day.

Does anyone have any recommendations of things to do or places to go. I can't hire a car but happy to travel on public transport

Thanks 😊

(I'm assuming the Calahonda between Fuengirola and Marbella, not the Calahonda to the east of Malaga over towards Almeria.)

Day trip to Malaga - cathedral, roman ruins, the Pompidou museum, excellent tapas, Picasso museum, Carmen Thyssen museum, Hermitage collection,

Day trip to Mijas pueblo - bullring, roman ruins, the view from the mountains, walk up to the little shrine up on the hill (lots of hill walking and hiking around there if that's something you enjoy)

Book a cooking class: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g187435-Activities-c36-t203-Costa_del_Sol_Province_of_Malaga_Andalucia.html

Day trip to Gib/Algeciras/Seville/Grenada would be easy enough if you had a car but a bit of a pain on public transport, unless you're willing to pay for taxis.

Spa day, shopping in Marbella or Fuengirola, reading books...

Yes, you are correct.

Many thanks for all the ideas, sounds like enough to see to keep us busy for a couple of days at least.
Am hoping for a forecast change so that even days out won't require an umbrella.
