Greece or Mauritius

Looking at going to either Greece or the Mauritius in mid June. We are not based in the UK so both are á similar distance and cost to reach.

Which would you go for? We have found the sea to be cold in Greece in July. But it is also winter in Mauritius.

Mauritius is tropical so sea shouldn't vary as much but I'm not a good judge, I thought the sea was cold in Sri Lanka despite the thermometer saying 31!

Apparently Mauritius had awful June and July last year!

Just bear in mind that being south of the equator means the sun sets quite early in Mauritius in June, which I stupidly wasn't my expecting and had been anticipating bright evenings rather than sundowners at 17.30!

Good point! It seems to be around 28c in Mauritius now. If that could be guaranteed for three weeks time we’ll book!

The weather isn't the same all over Mauritius. Make sure you go to the warmer side (from memory the west or north/west but check).
