NW France campsite recommendations

Looking for somewhere in Morbihan, Loire-Atlantique or maybe even Vendee I think for the last week in July. We want a week in a large campsite near the beach and with pools with water slides where DS who is 5 can play with other (ideally English-speaking) children. It will be part of a longer campervan trip so we will have nights in quieter/more authentic spots either side, not looking for that here! We'll want some food on site but also a walk or short cycle to a nearby town ideally. Ideas please!

I’d recommend Les Mouettes. It’s not quite in the area you’re looking at, but it ticks your boxes in every other respect.

Thanks I had looked at that one but it's full; we've left it quite late due to dithering on leave dates unfortunately (still TBC unfortunately).

Anyone else? Any views on Camping du Letty and Benodet generally?

There’s another one we like called Camping La Plage. I didn’t mention it as it’s not as big. It does have some waterslides and a kids club. When my dc went to the kids club, all the staff spoke good English. There weren’t any other English children of the same age as my dc but they made friends with some of the European children.

Camping du letty is brilliant. I've been there a lot. Last time in 2019.

It's well laid out, the facilities are great and the the staff are always very helpful. They have an amazing pool area and the beach is right next door.

You can walk into benodet and quimper is a short drive away. Benodet has a large supermarket then there is a hypermarche in quimper.

I really do recommend it.

We find the Sandaya sites to be brilliant. They have a few down the coast including one called Le Littoral in the Vendée that would suit.

They are mostly statics but also have nice pitches.

If you want to go a bit further south Sequoia Parc is a brilliant site.

Not much availability with Sandaya except the Noirmoutier sites, but I was hoping to avoid them after a poor experience last year down at Sanguinet. Your recommendations did look good!
