Los Angeles in July

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of visiting in LA in July?

I've been told it will be 30 Celsius and when I look it up that's what it says!

However I'm sure I've heard it gets extremely hot in LA this time of year, like way hotter than that!

Does anyone know?

I may postpone my trip until October when weather is more bareable!

i was there at the end of august and it was still 30+ degrees so chances are july will be the same or even hotter

@chipsandpeas - thanks for your reply. Much hotter than 30? Or just around 30?

I am supposed to be visiting someone there and they told me it's 30 but will creep up to 40 in and around the San Fernando valley.....so I'm kind of thinking 30 is too low an estimate 😂😂

I don't like extreme heat!

think the hottest day was about 32 degrees
most places have air con so can go into shops to cool down a bit if needed
