The Livesey Museum is a fantastic children's museum on the Old Kent Road (get 453, 53, 21 or 172 bus (5 mins) from Elephant and Castle). Its free, suitable for all ages, especially under 12s & even toddlers.
Southwark Council are trying to close it & the crucial vote is on Wednesday (tomorrow).
If they succeed, it will close from April. Show your support by visiting it now. See the website www.liveseymuseum.org.uk for more info and to sign the online petition.
Its current exhibition X Marks the Spot is all about maps and includes a huge model of a treasure island that children can climb on with buried treasure that children can hide and find. There's lots more including a beautiful courtyard garden to play outside.
My DC's have been going there since they were babies & love it. They are heartbroken.
