Lisbon in October

Looking to go somewhere warm-ish in the 2nd week of October and even though we’re not great at relentless sightseeing and cultural pursuits we do like the look of Lisbon. If anyone has been at this time of year and can offer any advice/tips/recommendations I’d really appreciate it - including hotels. 😊

We were in Lisbon last October, stayed in Cascais for the first few days then Lisbon for 2 nights.
Weather in Cascais was pleasant, warm enough for shorts and t shirts but we had some tremendous downpours in Lisbon.
Take comfy shoes, it’s very hilly! We bought travel cards which made it easier to get around, hopping on/off buses and trams.

We went a couple of years ago in October and had a lovely time. Time Out market, tuk tuk tour, Belem, the castle etc. Second the travel card. It can also be used for the elevator.

God! We queued for an hour in torrential rain for that lift!!

I did and it was lovely and warm. My friend went a week later and had days of constant rain. Can you book last minute?
I did that a few times to pick European City with best weather. Flights will cost more though.

I've been at the end of September.

The weather was good (imo). I personally preferred other parts of Portugal to Lisbon tbh. But it is still a really good holiday destination IMO.

I hope you enjoy your stay :-)
