Due to go away next Tuesday for a week and the weather looks awful rain every 2 day it's a package holiday in Spain and with a 6 year old & 3 year old I am already dreading being stuck in the hotel every day.

Does anyone know if jet2 will let you change the destination this close to departure?

Where in Spain are you going?

It's almost certainly not going to rain anywhere near as much as you fear, and it's still likely to be warm, so wouldn't you just go out and get on with it, perhaps with an umbrella or pac a macs if it looks like it really will throw it down?

If you do get wet, you'll dry quickly again in the heat, and it won't affect beach, pool etc as you'll get wet there anyway.

But no, I don't think Jet2 will let you change, without paying ££££s, but you could always ask.

I think May is always a bit iffy on weather in so many places. Canaries could be your best bet? 2 weeks is a long time too!

What are the terms of your booking?

‘We do not allow destination changes’

I’d highly doubt it. It would be a terrible business model if they allow people to change on a whim!

Yes checked with their customer services and has to be at least 14 days before to change...

I was near Benidorm for a week a few years back and days 1 and 2 were sunny, and days 3-7 were literally sideways rain for the entire day and night. We ran out of clothes as nothing would dry. They shut the pools. The beaches were deserted.

So it does happen.
