Athens in October

Husband and I are thinking of taking our 12 year old to Athens over the October half-term as he loves Greek Mythology so getting to see the Parthenon, Temple of Zeus, etc. would be lovely for him. Does anyone have any suggestions of good hotels that they'd recommend? We are thinking four nights. Thanks

Highly recommend coco mat Athens BC, would go back in a heartbeat! It even has a rooftop pool yet is reasonably priced.

How bizarre. DH and I have literally just discussed doing the same for 4 nights with our 12yo, so I hopped on to MN to research!

I just looked at the hotel that Melon2312 recommended and it's lovely, but sadly with no availability for October. Jet2 have some decent 4 night stays that don't appear too bad so we'll probably go with one of those.
