Sani beach - what’s the deal with restaurants??

I’m perusing the different restaurants and start to look at availability for a few at lunchtimes, all time available to book are late evening?! Does this mean they are all fully booked? Surely not in May, please someone tell me you can walk in to some for lunch at least (mild panic setting in)

You are not able to book lunches in advance. You can just turn up on the day. Evenings can be booked 2 months in advance before arrival. You can book up to 3 meals. You can also email the restaurant reservation team who can book on your behalf.
