Free child places

Hi,

We're a family of 6 and would like to book a week away. I've seen a holiday offering free child places.

I wondered whether anyone with more then one child has ever split their booking into two in order to get 2 free places instead of the one? Or am I missing a downside to doing this?

I will already need to contact the holiday company or hotel to request the rooms to be together even if I book us all together.

To get a free child place each booking needs 2 adults. So you'd need 4 adults to go to get 2 free child places.

Ah I see, that makes sense or lots of people would do it I'm sure. Although very unfair on single parents 😔

You'll likely still be better off as two separate bookings, one adult and 2 children on each - you'll pay 2 x adults and get a free child on each booking, normally considerably less than paying 2 x adults, 3 children, and only getting one free child

I was quoted for tea holiday on jet2 with a fcp and I'm on my own so you don't need 2 adults with them
