Parking in London - HELP

Hi

We are staying near Covent Garden at the weekend. We need somewhere in central London to leave the car securely but reasonably cheap. Have been quoted £35 a day by nearest NCP. Anyone know a good one that might be cheaper. Did used to use one underground at Marble Arch but can't remember what it cost. Don't mind taking a taxi to the hotel.Any advice?

Roadside parking is often free at weekends. I park in Victoria in meter bays free on a Saturday.

Theren is a website called park-up.com. Covent garden not free to park on saturdays but some nearby areas are.

just watch out with the residents only parking, looks free initially.

Thanks all. Bit worried about leaving it on the road as DH is taking his v expensive car . Although guess if I park in Mayfair it won't look that posh.
