Arras hotels and restaurants

Hi all,

We're considering a one night stopover in Arras this summer. We'll obviously check out TripAdvisor but just wondered if anyone could share their experience of visiting/staying here?

We're looking for a fairly anonymous chain hotel and some decent bistro style French food in a location that we can enjoy a nice wander around after dinner.
(No kids and we'll be driving.)

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

@Fluffywabbits I can’t help with a central hotel but we stayed at a B&B about 5km from the centre called Plumes et Coton. Lovely breakfasts! The market square and surrounding areas in Arras are lovely and it’s worth a trip up the bell tower for a view over the city. If you have time then I’d recommend a trip to nearby Vimy Ridge for some WWI history.
